“Nobody would ever describe Neal as fully animated. Or expressive. His thoughts didn’t play across his face like light on water. Which means Georgie cataloged every flinch, every flick of his eyes, and tried to figure out what they meant. This seemed like a great way to spend the rest of her life.”
love this so much!! I enjoy a lot Rowell’s work. My book list is a mess but i will definitely add this one!
This is the second time this week I have heard of this book. Never read anything by this author, but this is on my To Read list now. Anyway, who can resist an author with a name like Rainbow Rowell. 🙂
Just started the audio of this one…..think it is going to be a good one.
Adding this to my list now after reading that quote, sounds lovely!
I’ve read Eleanor and Park but I have yet to read Fangirl or Landline. Rainbow Rowell is a phenomenal writer from what I’ve read of her work, I’ll have to crack this one open sometime soon. Thanks for the review Yuri!
What an amazing quote. I’ve definitely been there: realizing you just want to spend the rest of your life figuring someone out. I’ve never heard of this book but am definitely adding it to my reading list. Love your blog, as always! – Leith
